Jarrod Lash
Jarrod Lash embarked on his martial arts journey in 1994, and five years later, he completed his studies at the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. Following his graduation, Jarrod moved to Tucson, where he not only continued his martial arts training but also began studying Traditional Chinese Medicine under the guidance of Vince Black, the founder of the North American Tang Shou Tao Association. This mentorship and learning experience spanned two decades.
In 2016, Jarrod parted ways with NATSTA to explore different methodologies and instructors. He took up boxing and Jujitsu training with Nic Holck and continues his martial arts practices under the guidance of Tim Cartmell, a relationship that continues to this day.
Between 2008 and 2012, Jarrod was department head of Tuina at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, where he taught and formulated the curriculum, as well as ran the student Tuina clinic. He founded the Descending Dragon Health Center in 2010, which he continues to run as the foremost center for Tuina, Qigong, and Xingyiquan in Tucson, Arizona.
